Couldn't agree more about DNG. To me this just looks like a marketing move rather than a real necessity. So am I missing something, or does this system not avoid the worrying about what version of PS I am using? But Adobe's policy to terminate support for older versions of Photoshop by just not issuing ACR updates for previous versions any longer does also upset me a little.
